My name is Brian Comerford and I am based in Thomastown Co. Kilkenny. I work as secondary school guidance counsellor in Dublin. I also run classroomguidance.ie a website that publishes edcational resources for edcational guidance for second level and further education. 

I really enjoy the private guidance work I do. Because of the vast array of choices available today we often make decisions that are uninformed, in a rush or we just drift into situations and sometimes we choose careers because of others expectations.

I have been working as a guidance counsellor for over tewnty years. I believe we need time and space to be really listened to so that ultimately we can find meaning in our lives by choosing a career that can express our values, talents, personality and interests.
